“Beloved” depicts a purple iris in bloom against a bronze background.  The subject matter is in honor of a dear friend who lost her granddaughter, “Iris”, to the war on drugs.  The iris flower is meant to show the beauty of her soul.  Through the creation of this artwork, I was able to pray for both Iris and her family.
